Anders Wedberg
Born March 30 1913 in Oscar's House, Stockholm
Died February 20 1978 in Danderyd.
Was a Swedish philosopher. He was the son of Birger Wedberg.
Wedberg was Professor in theoretical philosophy at Stockholm University 1949-1976. He took an early impression Uppsala Philosophy,but later came under the influence of such Cambridge Philosophy and the logical positivism.
His most internationally respected work could be Plato's Philosophy of Mathematics (1955).
Best known in Swedish philosophers and philosophy students,for "History of philosophy" in three bands (1958-1966), which is characterized by a concern to the modern philosophical-analytical methods specify view the content of previous philosophy. Administration was translated also into english. He was elected April 10, 1974 as a member of Royal Academy of Sciences.
